Steve launched his first tech startup in 1994 and went on to sell his second, PIPE Networks for $373 million in 2009. He has become one of Australia’s leading investors in start-ups and tech.  

Throughout the conversation, Steve talks about the process of scaling his first start-ups within a competitive telecommunications market. He also shares his early experience as a soldier and its influence on his current investments in the Australian sovereign defence technology sector.
